Introduction

The Optical Magnetic Resonance Experiment Instrument (shortened as “Optical Pumping” overseas) is used in modern Physics experiments. Involving rich knowledge about Physics, such experiments enable students to understand Optics, Electromagnetism and Radio electronics against realistic contexts, and make possible understanding the internal information of atoms qualitatively or quantitatively. They are one of the typical experiments used in spectroscopic teaching. Optical Magnetic Resonance Experiment uses optical pump and photoelectric detecting technology, and thus is a way above ordinary resonance detection technologies in sensitivity. This approach is widely applicable in basic Physics research, accurate measurement of magnetic fields, and technical standards making of atomic frequency.

Experiments

1. Observe optical pumping signal

2. Measure g-factor

3. Measure earth magnetic field (horizontal and vertical components)
