LEEM-10 Experimental Apparatus of PN Junction Characteristics

The physical characteristics of PN junction is one of the important contents in the teaching of general physics, semiconductor physics and electronics. Boltzmann constant is a basic constant in physics. In physics experiment teaching materials, there have been some measurements of basic physical constants, such as electron quantity, charge mass ratio, Planck constant, etc., but there are few experiments on the measurement of Boltzmann constant and the study of Boltzmann distribution. The PN junction physical properties tester produced by our company can be used to measure the physical properties and Boltzmann constant of PN junction, and learn the new method of weak current measurement. Experiments

1. Measure PN junction diffusion current versus junction voltage, and acquire Boltzmann constant

2. Construct a current-voltage converter using operational amplifiers for measuring weak current

3. Measure PN junction voltage versus temperature, and acquire the sensitivity of junction voltage with temperature

4. Obtain prohibited bandwidth of silicon material at 0 K approximately

5. Measure temperature and electrical resistance using platinum resistance and DC bridge method
